Requirements

Jd sports is a FTSE 100 and the UKs largest sports & fashion retailer. The company based in the north of England, with store presence throughout the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia and Australia. JD sports contacted us to discuss what can be done to help promote a number of new store openings in multiple locations across the UK. They were looking for a format that would best match their urban ethos.

The solution

Working with their traditional and digital marketing departments we opted for a 9 day campaign with time splitt between locations (Bath (5 days), Folkstone (2 Days), Kidderminster (2days)). We proposed targeting  high footfall areas as well as areas with alot of students (young demographic) like Bath University. We also decided to incorporate promotion of their competition to win a years worth of trainers at the Bath store. 

Outcome

The campaign was a great success with each store location receiving local press coverage. Our drivers quickly became brand ambassadors as they were inundated with questions from the public which helped communicate the overall campaign and add to its clear message.
